THERE IS A SHOP ON FACEBOOK - NEWEST FEATURE ON FACEBOOK


Just two days ago Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg took to his page to announce the new invention of the brand "The Shop"

This will enable Facebook users set up a SHOP on their Facebook page while payment/transaction details will be added paving way for easy payment of goods purchased.

A Facebook shop lets you show and sell products to people on Facebook. To add a shop to your Facebook Page here are the steps:

On a computer, select the Shop tab on your Facebook Page. If you don't see this tab, you can change your Page template to the Shopping template.

Follow the on-screen instructions to add a shop to your Facebook Page. Fill in all the required fields.

Select Finish when you're done.


Further more, Shops on Facebook can be linked to Instagram pages, He later said efforts are on going to link Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp to the shops created on Facebook

Question now is : is this not giving other sales platform a run for their creativity ?
